Balik Kampung

Our home sweet home.

Woke up early to clean my house before balik kampung.We made a quick trip to balik kampung ... so quick in fact that we spent not even 4 days ( spent 3 days 2 nights only) in the hometown. Oh, I dont have time to get the compulsory balik kampung makan- nasi beriani/ mee rebus- makanan Johor.Once, Ummi told me "rumoh kecik takpo, asal besih.Bersyukur dgn apo yg ado"

Alhamdulillah.I am very thankful to Allah.

I do love my house, allthough we are renting this house.

Nice peoples,good location, nice area. Ohh..I just love this place!

We had planned to leave for Yong Peng on Friday morning but because of the kesulitan tidak dapat dielakkan, I only reached Yong Peng at 530pm. Our Pit stop -lunch at Chinese Muslim Restaurant somewhere in Seremban..again!!!:-0 .Hanim, layan jela yerrr :-),oh tp yg u masak sedap gak tau.

As we reached Y.Peng, everybody were busy.Wedding day kan, harus semua busy.

We slept at my sweet sis aka Cik Na's room that night.

Makan-makan

We had a very busy day.Have to check the working progress of our new house.

So for our lunch, we went to Aladdin, a Chinese Muslim Restaurant in Glomac Square, Kelana Jaya..which is near to our new house,yabeda beduuu*wink.

Apeng loves Chinese food,his fav!

It's a nice restaurant with leather chairs and marble top tables, very nice flooring and great ambiance in a non pretentious, family oriented way. We were spoilt for choice,we ended up ordering individual dishes.

Here mine : Kung Bo Chicken Rice.Spicy with soy sauce.Good.Big portion.

Fu Yong Egg Rice with lamb.

I have to say..dont order this!Mcm mkn nasi telur dadar,seriously!

BUT Apeng said"sedapp".

Teh 3 rasa.Combination of gula melaka,susu and teh.

The service,food are good.

Actually this is our second time.The first time we ordered few things and unable to finish it off as the portion is quite big.But we had given a platter of watermelon as a complementary.

The food is highly recommended for those who love Chinese Muslim food.

Movie Day

It was an interesting movie-bole layan la :-).
The story tells of two childhood friends; Los (Hans Isaac) and Faun (Adlin Aman Ramlie) who come to Kuala Lumpur to make a living. Together they have a gift to help people find their misplaced belongings. They soon become well-recognised and are seen on TV.

Everytime I go to see a Afdlin Shauki movie,I have high expectations.Mmm,but what I hate in this movie.."mcm ada sumthing missing". What I love most?"The BrokeBack mountain Scene"

By the way, the comedy behind it is absolutely hilarious with a combination of slapstick and intelligent humour.This investigative comedy introduces something fresh to the Malaysian industry, as we don't normally see this on the big screen ( but please, it's nothing like Hollywood-ohh pls dont compare)

Last but not least Malaysia Boleh!

As the festive season approaches,some people welcome the joyous by committing themselves to married life (yerps..Raya Haji on 8th and Christmas 25th)- ohh which remind me I need to attend my brother in law's wedding on 13th Dec&14th Dec.
As for me..I love to see the decorations (esp kt tgh2 mall tu; you have no idea how happy I am seeing all the decors :-)-
mm.. ART ,I guess :-)

Decorating can be a very important part of celebrating the holiday season; it creates a mood and atmosphere in your home of a festive and inviting nature. Yups,creative!

Im the biggest fan of Kerabu,anything Kerabu..name it. I love the smell of bunga kantan :-).

This one is Kerabu pegaga..loveeee it so much! Give it a try and you will never regret it

Birthday?

When I was a kid, my birthday was a second best to Raya.Though it was not as elaborate, it was a day set aside special just for me :-).(I celebrated myself because my family didnt celebrate birthday.We are from kampung and so far, nadaa celebration :-)

I can still remember arwah ayah & umi bought me a bicycle,it really was nothing spectacular but to me at that time, it was the most beautiful bike I had ever seen :-) ( considered it as my birthday gift, kami org kampung, birthday semua ni takda ye )
nak taknak, buatla sendiri ( bnyk tgk tv so nak la gak merasa birthday party mcm mana)

How ?
I bought candles myself (satu kotak around 80 cents)- , and then cucuk candles kat tanah liat yang dah dibuat ala2 kek kat blakang rumah and..lalaallaaalalala..nyanyilah lagu happy birthday :-)
Masa tu rasa kek birthday yg cantik tu mahal sgt!!
So sweet kan?I was the only girl so main la sorang2!
2 of my brothers were overseas and 1 was in a boarding school.Another 1 brother was at home -still in Primary school( that explain why, I am sooo rapat with abg ha.) tp dia laki, so takda la main benda2 camni :p

Now, Im married to the man of my life.The problems is..he will always ask what I wanted for my birthday! Im hoping for surprise tho.

My birthday will be coming soon, 4th February 2009 ( lambat lagi actually), and he already asked me.Hmm..just now I had a chit-chat with neeza.. coincidently, my husband and his husband mintak leave for our birthday :-)
I guess it is the sweetest things in our life, kan neeza?

My husband provides me food, shelter,clothing, holidays..bla bla bla..

In fact, more than enough!
He is not forced, however, to spend beyond his capability and I am not entitled to make unreasonable demands :-)

I watched Madacasgar 2:Escape to Africa with my beloved apeng last wednesday,(not bad huh.)

This time, Alex, Gloria, Melman and Marty try to fly back home to New York. Unfortunately, they end up crash-landing somewhere in Africa.The action comes as fast as the laughs do, forcing us or viewers to immerse themselves in the spirited fantasy world of Madagascar.

There's no need to go back to the zoo; Alex and friends should be allowed to run free forever :-)

Aktiviti Petang

Ever flown a kite ? Well, that’s most of us isn’t it! I read somewhere , an excellent ways to gain a feel for aerodynamic forces is to fly a kite :-)

When flying kites was still a popular past time among children ( obviously ramai kanak-kanak di sana ) I feel the excitement with unpredictable winds, as this helps the kite go really high. (Tp yang terbangkan layang-layang itu adalah lakiku :p, takda la effort aku sgt!)

This is our "bonding moments", much like watching DVDs, Akademi Fantasia/ Sehati Berdansa on Saturday or..Awan Dania :-p

Muchas gracias to Syauqi and Hanim. Few reasons to say thank you :-

1. Ajak kami join sama ur "bonding moments"

2.bawa kami naik kereta kamu, supaya kami takyah drive :-) and the car..cantik menawan tertarik mmg the BOMB :)

Selamat menunaikan Haji

This December, my lovely Aunty Zai & Uncle Najeeb, my brother and wife :Abg Sam & K.Zah and more than 2 million Muslims from around the world converged on Saudi Arabia to participate in the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to the holy site of Mecca.

Hatiku berbunga :-)

Each time we had our date, hatiku berbunga :-)

Few mths ago, apeng and I decided to set aside once a week as our date night.( tak bole nak letak hari ape bcos of his working schedule tak tentu ada ke tak) and we have "pizza night" on Saturday ( while watching reality shows; AF,Sehati Berdansa...)

You may ask why gedik sgt nk buat "date night" after marriage. Mmm..It helps us to discover more of each other, understand each other’s dreams, share ideas about betterment of career (obviously his career..heheh). After marriage every couple feels that they understood about each other very well. .(tp kdg2 bnyk lg yg tak paham..) We talk from our heart which you may not be doing in everyday routine. Then we will understand we are missing ‘something’.

TP..ckp benda2 camtu kat rumah pun boleh kan?Takyah la nk kuar2.

BUT..this is our way :-) Saja suka-suka.Tukar2 environment.

You don’t have to go out nak buat benda2 camni kan,kt rumah pun boleh...dining on a candlelit dinner alone in the house,will be a great idea... romantik kan?Ok per..

The dinner itself is more comfortable and save cost!

Urmm, time bf-gf uptown jela, no fancy place yer :p ( ohh no offense..I love going to uptown, in fact skang pun pergi )What I mean is..masa bf-gf , apeng taknak bawak gi fancy places sbb dia taknak mbazir kot..hehehhe. Ntah la, apsal ek, sampai skang pun aku duk pk kenapakah...( ke sbb kalau tak jadi kahwin rugi??)Bole pk camtu?hahahha

So,ape2 pun setiap org ada cara mereka.Terpulanglah :-)

Rayyan's Sports Day

I am trying my best to be a good aunty :-), at least I am trying!
I tried to attend his sports day, mm some more..seronot! Tp rupanya kejap je, sampai2 Rayyan dah dpt pun his trophy! Semua mcm his age, tp ada jugak yg 2 yrs kalau tak silap.

Oh ya, Rayyan is 3 yrs old by the way.. And the parents are not pushing him to attend school. saja suka- suki nak suh dia kawan-kawan. Activity pun cam main-main, pastu blaja colouring, benda2 budak-budak :)
For me, young children grow rapidly, both physically and mentally, and thrive on learning new skills and gaining experience. A good start in life provides a good foundation for the rest of their life and the more they can learn, the better skills and development they stand to have.

Ada country kt Europe, they provide free early learning for 3&4 yrs old,am I right?
