Trans Studio, Paris Van Java aka Bandung

Hi everybody!
As promised.. here goes our puasa trip to Bandung. Urm, I dont think I wanna blog about shopping sbb semua dah sedia maklum kat mana nak shopping kat bandung tu. From Pasar Baru( yang bertingkat2 tu) sampai la all the factory outlets yang bnyk tu.. I assumed semua dah tahu mana nak gi kan. Anyways, Pasar Baru dah start naik harga. Tak macam dulu masa mula2 kami gi Bandung, bila part nak menawar pon dah rasa macam payah benor.. macam diorang dah ada prinsip" take it or leave it". Tapi takla semua barang macam tu. Aperpon harganya still lagi murah la dari Malaysia. Ada sorang makcik from Malaysia ni bgtau dia ada beli kain lace yg sama jenis n material kat Jakarta boleh dapat dlm 250k RP tapi bila kat bandung after tawar menawar pon diorang bagi 450k RP. My previous experience, harganya jauh lebih murah, tapi now dah bulan Ramadan ..so mmgla harga tu lain sikit. Lagipon Bandung dah mcm second home for orang2 Malaysia. Toleh kanan, orang Malaysia, jalan2 sikit orang Malaysia.. takpon orang2 Singapore.

Time kami gi tu, orang2 Jakarta pon turun shopping.. lagila bnyk competition dari segi nak tawar menawar tu. I dont bother to ask about kain lace or beads, sbb tujuan utama ke bandung bukan sbb nak beli kain2 jenis itu. We went to satu kedai je yg direcommend oleh ramai org.. cari benda yang nak then zasss terus gi dinner.Tak sanggup kat situ..so stuffy.. tak kuasa nak bersiar2 untuk survey harga dah sbb keadaan sgt la sesak. Kazim pulak dah mcm agak restless sbb too crowded,oh well lagi 2 days nak puasa kan.

OK let's move to another part of the story. Yes, we went to Trans Studio, Bandung which is situated in Bandung Supermall. It is an indoor theme park. From our hotel, kami naik cab je ( there are two cab companies that constantly use meter - Blue Bird and Gemah Ripah, you can choose either one) . Ongkos from our hotel tu Bandung Supermall is around 20k Rupiah. Kami mmg taknak amik supir on that day sbb mcm tak guna pon sbb dah tentu2 duk kat situ sampai malam kan. Kalau cost supir, estimate dlm RP350-400 k perday. macam kami naik cab tu, return baru 40K, so we save a lot! Kalau nak gi singgah bnyk2 tempat and kalau ramai2 tu, go hire a Supir k.

Sampai je situ... my first impression: WOW! Lengang.. ehheh sbb my SIL baru balik from Bandung jugak, dia kata masa tu 2 jam je nak beratur beli tix, belum lagi nak masuk kat dalam tu. She said, she is wasting her time there. Tapi my SIL gi masa cuti sekolah diorang, so mmg la orang2 from Jakarta, Kalimantan, Surabaya... etc datang situ.So, AVOID SCHOOL HOLIDAYS( if you can :- tp kalau anak2 yg dah start school tu, ape kan daya kan.)

Price : A ticket costs Rp 200k (rm70) per person on Saturday and Sunday. The price of the ticket is down to Rp 150K(rm52.5)per person from Monday to Friday... Tix mereka guna card, so kena add on 10k untuk card tu. If nak makan2 or beli barang2 kat dalam tu kena siap2 masukkan berapa duit dlm card tu.The card is funtioning just like the ATM card. Tapi jgn risau, you can refund if u tak habis belanja. Macam our kes, we used credit card so kena charge ..dalam RP20k lagi, so if you can, use cash instead. BTW the operation hours is from 10am-9 pm. Tapi ada ride yang tutup seawal 530pm( or maybe bulan puasa..). Oh ya ,a little reminder for all..bila dah kuar, u dah taklih masuk balik semula.

Melangkah masuk je ke Trans Studio.. hmm I tgk : "Wow... ala2 Universal Studios Wannabe" hehehe

I dont want to compare dengan Genting sbb it is totally different. Kalau kat Genting, concept tu lain sikit . Ini they have a a live performance... thumbs up to their performance! Best, ala2 tgk kat Istana Budaya gitu. Siap ada artist on suspension wire mcm kat Hollywood. Ini mmg I rasa best. Kalau rides tu....so far okla untuk indoor theme park.

Inila masalahnya kalau guna camera tak canggih kan.Gambar tu blur2 je. Ini namanya Nascar Racing car.

My husband mmg suka giller ye..sbb dlm ni semua perempuan cantik-cantik , hmm time kami pergi ni ada la host2 tv Trans TV ni so..hmm semua nyer menarik tertarik memang the bomb..hhhuuuh
Those yang nak solat , mmg ada disediakan surau, so dont worry! Tapi mcm kami, we went out after Zohor ( zohor dah masuk kul 1210 pm), so bila sampai situ dah tak payah pk2 nak solat lagi.
There is a large Amphitheatre presenting international and Indonesian performances.Best!



Good news to Mommy + Daddy yg nak enjoy the rides, if nak tinggalkan anak2 pon ada disediakan tempat (ala2 Kidz Sport,Jungle gym or Megakidz tu..)..they call it Pulau Liliput,so mmg Kazim kami tinggal situ la sementara kami gi naik rides.
Dalam Magic Corner tu ada Jack and Beanstalk ( mcm Solero Shot kat Genting tp tak setinggi Genting punya)

They have parade! Mcm kat Disneyland :-) with all their own characters.

Trans Studio offers an insight into TV and media production :-) So everybody can learn a little bit about TV broadcast and programme. Here is an example of using Green Studio. Other than that, there is a corner for Big Brother reality show and a mock stage set. There is an interactive screen where you can test your knowledge of the entertainment industry especially all shows and programmes aired by Trans TV.



My advise , dtgla after December.Sebabnya ada few rides lagi yang blom beroperasi.
Next, tak sahkan kalau tak gi shopping kan..:-)

BEST! Mahu tertinggal jantung ku. Mula2 takut nak naik..tp my husband ajak, so terjebak la. I think the ride was design to replicate the sudden burst of acceleration as such you are on the starting grid of MotoGP. At one of the billboard promoting the ride it says that the acceleration rate is 120km/hr in 3.5 seconds. This is for sure the main attraction to the theme park so I suggest that u ride it last.

Bandung Super Mall or BSM is a modern shopping complex that house a number of designer shops and retail outlets. Even the foodcourt is neat with a lot of comfortable seats and tables. There is the typical food outlet franchise and a few outlet selling traditional food. If you are familiar with Bandung, kalau nak makan yg ada kuah, kena cari Nasi Padang. Kalau yg kering, masakan Sunda mcm ayam bakar, gurame bakar atau goreng dan cumi bakar.

All in all, we had fun! Kazim pon happy je tgk wanita2 jelita kat situ..my husband pula..hmmm lagila suka..*big grin*
