TAIPEI
transit kat sini satu malam before balik KL.

We travel by MRT . The Taipei MRT system is the most efficient transportation to go around Taipei. Most of the attractions in the city can be reached by MRT routes. Trains are frequent and they always arrive on schedule. Note that you are not allowed to drink or eat on a train, or you will be fined, jadi dudukla kami kat bangku tu kejap nak habiskan air.Air mineral pon tak boleh yer.
at the train station.

I feel excited everytime I've got the opportunity to travel. It starts way before the journey even started because I know that every journey will bring different kind of story and experience. Not to mention the different type of food that I can savour.

On the way back from Hollywood, my husband have plan some itinerary during our stay in Taipei which includes Night Market, zoo and cable car ride. The zoo and cable car ride will be in a later entry. There are a few night market scattered around the Taipei city and the sizes are vary from one another. We choose the Raohe Street Night Market, although its not the biggest, because of the location. It is situated just a few station away from the restaurant where we had our lunch and dinner. As in Malaysia, the concept of night market is similar here except the type of food that they sell is totally different and rather than using an empty road, the street is flank with rows of shophouses with all the stalls in the middle of it. Something peculiar with the night market here is the 'stinking tofu'. It sure does provoke my sense of smelling similar to durian to westerners.
We went to the same restaurant on both day. They have a selected menu but what made they famous is their beef noodles. Since both of us doesn't really fancy noodles, it was something else that become our favourite, 'Slice beef with Beijing sauce'. I can still vividly recall the soft, tender and succulent taste of it. Just to arouse your imagination, imagine munching something that makes you doesn't want to stop. That is how tasty it was. I have to stop describing the food since it tends to make me drool and its not a good thing to do during this holy month. :)

SO YUMMY!

Here in Taipei ader satu area nama Wufenpu(it is a wholesaler area)walk from Houshanpi MRT station (10min), u can get really cheap baju-bajuan. Ada lagi satu tempat nama Ximending, pun sama mcm Wufenpu tp situ biasanya foreigners yang pergi. Rasa mcm baju2 yg jual online ke yg ada kat kedai LO*E IT tu, semua ada kat sini tp rega sgt la menarik..U can get as low as rm10-RM15 for one baju with a good quality and nice design( yang kat sini maybe jual dlm...hmmm RM80 ke camtu) Skirt pon dlm RM20 or even less!!Ohh well..sgt bnyk choices! Rambang mata. Gambar2 kat situ mmg tak amik sbb situ ramai dan sesak.agak susah nak amik gambar.

Tapi situ kena tawar2 la.I tak pernah gi China or Bangkok jugak, so tatau mcm mana nk compare harga mcm mana.Tp baju2 mmg bnyk especially fashion mcm Korean tu.Baju budak2 pon bnyk..RM60 untuk 7 helai..ada jugak yg RM60 untuk 6 helai, tgk design mcm mana. Aperpon, kena pandai tawar habis2.Org2 Taiwan ni mcm ala2 Korean and Japanese, suka fashion yg agak EXTREME! Vest mmg trend kat sana..masa kami kt sana lah. Now, maybe dah tukar kot. Kalau nak brg2 designer go to Taipei 101. Kami tak sempat nak gi situ..I guess..it is second tallest building if am not mistaken. The first is Al-Burj, Dubai.

What did we buy?

tydus : I can't remember the name of the restaurant, but its near the MRT Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station, Nanbai Line, Exit 1. Once you come out from the exit, the direction of the shop should be on ur left. Ask the locals about beef noodles, they should be able to point the direction. You are on the correct road if there is some eateries at both side of it.Hope this helps.
