Welcome to Penang

We went to Penang to attend Yein's wedding. We left our house nearly 10am and reached there around 3pm. Good things, we managed to gather all. As usual, when I was in Jenan's community, pecah perutku dibuatnya.I tell you what..they are seriously hilarious! Meeting with most of the Jenan's has made my day!Thanks guys :-)

So, our next program was- tadaaaaa...visited Bukit Bendera.Penang Hill is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Chop Bukit Bendera sama ke translation ngn Penang Hill? :p.
Anyway, the most popular and recommended way for tourists is to take the funicular train. There is a waiting time and so plan ahead. Round trip ticket at RM4 for an adult is a steal!!!
While waiting for the train,we had our juices at the nearby stall.

You will see breathetaking views on the way up and once up the top.Unfortunately we cant see anything.It was raining.

The freshness of the air on the top is really good and its a perfect getaway from the city environment. There is a mosque, Hindu Temple , church,Post Office..hotels, restaurants... on top of the hill. Everyone agreed that this is a "must do thing" for anyone who goes to Penang..right?
Yg paling best masa nk turun, Jenan ni sgtla bising sampai conquer satu space in the train tu.Bising habis..( but It was the best things!) bila sampai station Air Hitam tu, pintu coach kami yg tak terbuka.Mcm kena kurung la. Semua mcm dah cuak.Hahha..TP at last org tu bukakan la, and dia siap tny asal dr mana..EXCITED sgt dia kata.OMG, I love that moment!
At night, we went to Padang Brown. I told everbody that I was so hungry :p.Being fussy me I always need my proper meals..BUT , I dont give a damn what to have that night because I was so starving! And please bear in mind that I dont eat late night snacks(yups, Im so fussy)But when I was jalan-jalan, I give an exceptional. I don't want to miss out on my favourite foods/Penang delights..exactly!!!

We had our fantastic trip! Lepas kenyang, we headed to Pasar Malam at batu Ferringhi.

Now, you'll most likely hear about this place from everybody.The nite market opens around 8pm till 12am.The night market buzzes and stall after stall compete with each other to sell their wares. Here you can buy all manner of souvenirs, fake watches, fake branded handbags and t- shirts. DVD's are big business in the night market and you can get all the latest releases here.

Lepas tu sambung lagi char koay teow sampai kul 3am berjalan, bole?hahahah
Yours truly, Leen and Mum-to-be:Aima slept at hotel together! Yay, satu katil okeh!Sukaaa...hahaha. Apeng, Koben and the boys were sleeping at "Manai's Villa" :p.

I woke up at 630am and took my shower.I packed my stuff and left hotel nearly 830am. We were rushing, my Apeng has been called into work that night. I enjoyed my weekend. I was able to see bunch of friends at the wedding. The wedding that I went to was a blast, including Mueim's wedding at Sitiawan!

Mum's fav son? Yes, abg ha will always be her sweetheart.Yups, as usual " acara suapan ".This lil kiddo also wanted to blow the candle.Yet everybody sang the song..AGAIN??!!Hey your birthday already past!

Happy Birthday to our Ummi.We did our lunchie birthday at Chillis, Mid Valley. Mom feels extra special this year.This would have been mom's 68th- age it just a number right?She feels young everyday..:-). Mom, I wish you all the best in life!

Mummy Diella???Congrats~

Urm Finally!Ive been waiting this moment, to visit Diella. Last time, we couldnt make it to the hospital due to kesulitan tidak dpt dielakkan. As for now, we are super- duper busy but still manage "curi masa" and went to visit her.
My darling Diella recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl . The road journey to Raub took about..hmm nearly 3 hrs.
We had stopped a few places tho :-)

Did I mention that we managed to take a nap at Diella's house?Apeng slept about..30 minutes. We had fun there, dah buat mcm rumah sendiri. And Diella's dad who was at home, prepared us mee goreng. We left Diella's place at 6pm and had toothsome dinner at Chinese Muslim Restaurant in Raub ...

Of course we did enjoyed our dinner.Satu je nak kata L.I.C.I.N.

After having dinner in Raub, we made our way back to Shah Alam and ...reached home nearly 930 pm :-).

New year 2009

Yo! happy new year peeps! We here( my husband and me) are all about self-improvement. Believe me, we are trying our best ,so please dont judge us :-)

No, we're not going to waste your time telling you all of our unfulfilled resolutions from years past. Instead, being "US", we figured that we are so lucky in everything.Alhamdulillah.

Anyway, my Apeng was away during the New Year Eve. K.Ita had invited us for 'makan-makan+ swimming+karoeke session" at her place, since husband was not around.As usual, Ummi joined " the orang lama group". I can see she enjoyed talking to the aunties.

Yups, we were at karoeke room at the evening. Ummi ( hmm, I cant believe that my mum..she absolutely can sing!..how I wish I can have her talent..). Sporting habes!

Suddenly Ummi told me

"Dulu Ummi nyanyi kt org kawin.."

I was..OMG! Is that true????????

Hmm..

I hope everything that we plan ahead will come true ,amin.

-Not that I loveeee gossip(Im watching GOSSIP GIRLS peeps!) tp kdg2 tu TERGOSSIP jugak kan :p ( yeaaa..I admit that! ) but I hate myself in that position!

,..hmm..Everyday ,Im more and more motivated to stop it.Gossip is a destructive habit that can ruin a friendship and turn someone's life upside down. You can't make someone else stop gossiping but ...I can prevent myself..right? yups, I told ya guys, me not perfect.But I will try my best...The best way to control gossip is to stop it before it starts.

Are you a cartoon junkie? Can you believe that Im still watching it?Ever since I was a kiddo, Im really hooked up to watch cartoons..now that Im 25, yups turning 26 years old on 4th Feb( yups, that's a hint baby..hahahah).
I love watching any cartoons. I even enjoyed watching Playhouse Disney- ooh&aah, Higglytown Heroes, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, Charlie and Lola...and..many more! ( pls,dont make me list down all yah- kang tak cukup space)
Anyway,few months ago, one of my baking Guru asked us( they were 3 of us )
"Does anyone knows what is Pocoyo ??How it looks like?And this one fella who came from USA wanted me to surprise her daughter with Pinky&Brain.And do you know what is Chowder?"
" sorry Madam, tatau" both of them answered
"and you ?"
"Pocoyo?adorable!In fact they won a British Kids Award!I love..his adventures are hilarious and his laughter and dancing are contagious.I can give you the pics. Pinky &Brain cartoon lama.But I will try to find.I still remember the theme songs
