Broga Hill,Semenyih

Dear readers,
I've been waiting for this moment since.. I heard about Broga from one of our friend. For those who have no idea where is Broga Hill, it is about 45minutes away from KL.. We left our house at 730am (sorry Leen I bgtau u gerak after subuh.. u dtg awal 645am.. tp kami tak siap2 lagi.. huhuhu) OKay Leen I tau u nak marah I kan.. wekkkssssss :p. Konon nak tgk sunrise, mmg takda maknanya la kannn.. Kazim mmg mlm tu dah bgtau siap2 nk gi hiking so dia mcm OK.

My mom tak bg bawak Kazim, dia mmg nk jaga tp cam kami tak sampai hati nak tinggal. Lagipon smalam dah bgtau Kazim kami janji bawak dia, kang tup2 dia jaga kami tinggalkan dia.. mesti dia terkejut. Hmm, here's our plan:-

Plan A
Bangun 4am, siap2 gerak Broga tgk sunrise. Kazim tinggal kat hotel sbb after broga nak gi Sg.Tekala. Kalau tinggal Kazim kat KJ nak patah balik jauh.

Plan B
Mula2 igt nak tidur kat Semenyih sbb nak tinggal Kazim kt hotel situ ngn my mom and my bro's kids, so after kami dah habis gi broga, kami amik la budak2 tu kat hotel and gi Sg. Tekala.

Plan C
Tidur nyenyak habis.. gerak lepas subuh (645am sharp!!) Kazim bawak skali. Mom tinggal kt bangi kt rumah abang, later they join us to Sg.Tekala.

Hmm, bila dah ada anak ni kena ada option kan. Kalau time takda anak.. angkat barang, bawak diri habis cerita. But anyways,lastly kami ikut Plan C tp kuar rumah lambat. Leen dah perli2 dah... wekkss.. Jgn marah! We reached Broga around 930am (we stopped for breakfast, toilet visit and etc) Sampai je.. dah ramai org.. ada yg dah siap balik pon.. huhuhu.

It's free!!
BUT you have to pay for the parking fees which is RM2 per car per entrance. Park your car at oil palm estate, just opposite the Rabbit Farm.

Bila semua dah ready, zasssssss jln. Saper2 yg kata Broga Hill ni senang nak naik, jalan baik punyerr,mcm jalan biasa, tak sesusah Gunung Kinabalu, mcm jalan2 cari pasal.. YERPS mmg tepat sgt BUT imagine if you are carrying a little human with you... it's ain't easy! With or without a baby, hiking isn't necessarily difficult. But it requires more preparation.

What we did :-
A week earlier, kami dah gi tgk tempat tu. Nak tahu selamat ke tak. Susah ke tak. Sesuai tak nak bawak baby. Kami survey dulu. Pastu tgk cuaca hari tu mcm mana.Get a right baby gear. Pakai baby carrier, supaya dia comfortable. Bagi makan, tukar diaper dulu. Mentally pulak, just be prepared if any emergency.
Next time,we should buy something like this kot, lg senang. OR maybe BECO?

To start, finding trail markers was easy. Just follow the trail , the walking path pon ok tp kalau baru hujan, just be careful takut slippery.No need to worry. Basically,jalan turun and naik jalan yg sama so kalau dtg lambat usually akan bertembung dengan org yg dah nak turun. So, be sure to go early to beat the heat and sun and avoid crowds.
But then, KL weather, as unpredictable as politics :p, it can be sunny, gloomy or tiba2 cerah dan terang benderang.We are lucky! Time kami gi, redup je:-)
I have to say, I am really proud of Apeng tho I know we picked a fairly easy hike. Tapi,bukan senang nak bawak a new walker YERR. Most new walkers they dont like to be confined for very long. Mesti nak jalan jugak. Kata dah dapat kaki kan.
Oh wait, I havent list down anything we brought that day! Kami bawa mineral water,100 Plus(I bawak khas tuk u Leen :p), camera,handyplast err.. I guess that's all :-)
On top of this, we brought a small towel to protect Kazim’s face from the sun, foods for him, diaper, baby wipes and extra cloth for him in case of sudden weather changes.

Sampai separuh jalan, boleh tak one of our guy friend kata kt Leen pikir Big Mac kat atas sana (motivation la ni).. HELLO brother...! Big Mac wa tak heran la.. Designer Boutiques wa terus bersemangat waja! Ckpla, kt atas ada Chanel ke, Tods ke, LV ke kann.. baru la semangat membara2 :-)
Throughout the journey, Kazim didn't give us any problems. It was a glorious day for an expedition delivering countless plants and rocks to explore along the way. Hmm... lalang la yg paling kami igt :-)

Kazim never gets tired exploring the place. Ader je benda nak buat.
Kat Broga ni, ramai btol org. Ada yg dtg dengan group, students, lovers and so on.Bak kata pepatah sedangkan lautan api sanggup di renangi, bukit broga yg tak tinggi mana pon sanggup didaki :-)

Apeng pon tukar position Kazim supaya dia tidur dengan nyenyak. We are so happy sbb Kazim ok. Lepas tu kami singgah Sungai Tekala. Kazim pon bangun pastu main air sampai lapar, lepas makan zassss tidur balik. Lepas ni kita hiking tempat lain pulak ok.. jom saper2 nak join!

All in all, a very tiring day for us but.. definitely a happy day for the three us:-)

Nothing much, just wanna update on Kazim. He really enjoyed the Jungle Gym( situated in Bangsar Shopping Centre, 4th floor) the best thing is, it is free admission for child below 2 years..yippieeee~(those above 2 years the charge is RM22 on weekdays and RM28 on weekends) It's a huge relief to let him climb to his heart's content without worrying he'll crack his head..There are so many things for my son to play with and plenty of other children for him to learn from. it's a err..not -so- big enclosed space
( that's why I chose to come here since my son is still small), nice mix of people and ages and it's a refuge from bad weather.So my son can play safely!Also,it is a safe and friendly environment that is hygienic and has great staff.did i just say err.. Kazim enjoying it or yours truly?:p.

WHY I LOVE JUNGLE GYM?
Honestly..the surrounding...the people...and i gotta be honest again, saper tak suka benda free kann?*smile*.
Tempat ni tak la besar giller mcm Mega kidz tu tapi dah cukup bagus untuk Kazim sbb dia pon kecik lagi. aper2 pon at last dia gi main balls yg kalerful tu jugak. Benda tu jugak yg paling dia suka:-) Pastu bila tempat tempat tak besar mana, nak monitor pon senang.

25th Birthday

door gift

Oh I wish Im 25 years old too:-). Bukan birthday ku tp my SIL's birthday. We celebrated it at Chili's Empire.Thanks to Mr YB( of course) Sha, Ummi, err lagi satu K fadd lupa la nama kamu..huhu..sbb sanggup dtg nun jauh dari Johor. My SIL sgtla bertuah ada kawan2 mcm kamu semua :-)

Why Chili's?
Sbb dekat dgn rumah kami sbb malam tu kami ada wedding.Earlier, told my SIL to pick me up at Empire konon2 gi salon sbb mlm tu nak gi wedding..dah bgtau awal2 konon nak suh SIL jaga Kazim sbb kami nak gi wedding tuSbb kalau suh SIL gi rumah dulu kang tup2 dia taknak kuar plaks.Habis plan~.Sampai kat Empire birthday girl dah sampai tp Mr.YB tak sampai2.

Adoii terus message SIL kata konon my phone out of batt and suh tunggu kt coffee bean( sbb kalau tunggu situ takda la nk terserempak kan sbb Chili's tingat atas) Pastu masa kami nk parking she called apeng! I was like..alamak nk kata aper ni sbb konon I told her Apeng gi kuar ngn kawan2.... Nasibla apeng kata dia kt Subang Parade nanti dia dtg Empire.
Haih..tp sbb Mr.YB tu lambat.. kesian la SIL kena tunggu lama.But I know it's worth to wait kan?

Mcm biasa lahhhh..We sang her a birthday song when we saw her coming. Then,as usual cut-the-cake session, photo-taking session, and makan time..and we left immediately.

Nak waxing pls

Hi everybody!

Last month I followed my friend to do a waxing.Im not so sure which one ,Brazillian Wax or..ntahla..but one thing for sure they did the full bikini wax that leaves the "down- under area" bald. Err,I still wonder why they call it Brazillian Wax..???But anyways, I didnt try it yet since Im a scaredy cat.I cant tolerate the pain..bla bla bla...just hearing about it makes me go "ouch""euhhhh"..tttakutttttt!
You guys buat tak waxing ni?

AT THE SPA

"Mula2 sakit..ala sikit2 jer"
"hmm..ok I try armpit dulu lah camtu...ok?Kalau ok I try buat lain2 plak.."

So I went home.I didnt shave at all untill one day, my husband noticed my armpit pastu buat muka yg semacam:p, pastu cepat2 I ckp

still buat muka yg camm geli :p

So I always end up shaving again. :p so mcm mana nak gi waxing mcm ni????Urm, kalau mcm ni mmg takkan nak berwaxing la kan?Nak tunggu dia kerja lama, mmg takla sbb lepas ni dia sini2 jer kerja. Ayyoooooooo, kalau tak tutup kang terkeluar bulu ketiak..eeuuuooohhhh!

Tahun Baru, rambut baru?

Hi everybody!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
hows ur New Year's Eve?
Today 1st January 2011 macam nak buat rambut, mcm nak tukar gaya..
mcm nak kaler sbb i spotted grey hair..errmm..tapi takkan kaler mcm ni lagi?OR
macam nak buat bang mcm ni.. :I really admire her. she now has bangs and straight hair!
I dont think I can handle bangs.Urmm,I would look terrible with bangs because I have a small forehead.Hmm ke side bangs?Mungkin lagi sesuai kot.



Ermm..my hair stylist dah berenti from the salon yang i selalu pergi..meaning, I need a new hairstylist, any recommendation? Does anyone know any good hairdresser at A Cut Above other than Florence( she was my previous hairdresser )...? kalau tak A cut Above.. Hmm I am contemplating to try :-

1. ..Miko at Empire is having 50% off , sgtla menarik..dahla dekat..so my husband boleh drop and balik rumah pastu bila dah habis dia dtg sambil2 boleh bawak Kazim jln2 toysrus..
   
2. Diella suggested Rosso( dulu the owner kerja kt Peek-a-boo, tp now dia dah bukak salon sendiri)
3. Peek-a-boo..ermm since dolu2 pon pernah buat ngn this salon.Tapi pernah ada bad experience dgn one of their stylist...

Ermm, now bnyk sgt salon yg ada,sampai berpinar mata nak pilih kan?ERM..takper kita tgk aper kata survey!

Hi everybody!
How's ur weekend? Mine was great. Balik Yong Peng, pergi rumah Apeng's sister kat Segamat, pergi wedding Baya, semalam tgk bola and not to forget had fun chit-chat with beautiful girlfriends. They are a beautiful peoples inside and out. Last night me and my girlfriends were talking about current issues.. one of the issues that crop up is "wearing hijab". A few days earlier, I read an article at Sisters In Islam (SIS) website regarding this matter. After reading and digesting it, I reserve my comment and let you decide by yourselves. Anyway, here's my conversation with the girls.

Mrs X : Bila I pakai tudung, I x nak pakai baju yg ketat and sendat2.

Mrs Y : Ye la. Pempuan yg pakai tudung pun ada gak perangai yg x senonoh. Baik x payah

pakai tudung camtu.

Me : What do u mean by tak payah pakai tudung? U mean, we can do anything ke
kalau tak pakai tudung. Mcm "tiket" boleh buat apa2 je ke? Err.. rasanya bukan sbb
org tu pakai tudung.. itu diri dia.. I hate those yg suka judge appearance org. Tak
pakai tudung jahat, pakai tudung baik or vice versa.

Mrs Y : Bukan la.. tp kalau pakai tudung and perangai cantik.. kan lg elok kan?

Me : Hello.. we are human! Human make mistakes.. no one is perfect! I dont like when ppl
point to me like.. "err u tak pakai tudung.. takperlah itu ini" Oh well.. I'm a muslim.. I
still have my limit.. takkan tak pakai tudung we can do EVERYTHING?
No.. no... we are Muslim.. we need to obey Allah.. NO EXCUSE.

Mrs X : No I mean, I dont want to be like some girls.. yang dah pakai pastu bukak pastu
pakai.. ader hari nk pakai.. pakai.. ader hari tak nak pakai.. tak pakai. Gi overseas bukak tudung, gi office pakai tudung..

Me : Arent we the same? We wear hijab during school times, and after that we tak
pakai..? My personal opinion, at least they are willing to wear hijab! Tak kesah la
kejap ke tak.. overseas ke malaysia ke... the point is.. they pakai la jugak.. tak mcm
kita ni.. tak pakai langsung!

Mrs Y : a'ahh kan... hmm bila la agaknya nk sampai seru :p

Me : Let me be honest.. hijab is a must/wajib.. so no question about it kan? Bila tak
pakai.. we choose not to wear.. not because seru tak sampai ke aper.. we knew it is
WAJIB...tp err.. KITA YANG TAKNAK :p

Mrs X : a'ahh kan... btol gak tu.. antara nak ngn tak nak je kan.

Mrs Y : I've seen so many people who don't wear hijab and are nice people, and so many who wear hijab and are bad people.

We smiled to each other then.
Silence.

Me and Mrs X: hahahha.. no no.. it just what ppl think only.. sbb yg pakai tudung tu senang u nak point.. kalau yg sexy tu, u nak point cam org tak heran.

Silence.
But that again is just my opinion and as always I know my opinion could be wrong. I know that saying this will probably hurt or make some of you who are reading .. geram or marah.. if anyone has been feeling offended with it, then I am sorry. It was not my intention. It is just my personal opinion.

In life there is a checklist in order to become 'solehah'. I take my hats off to all woman that wears tudung since they can already tick one item in the checklist,it also gives a message to others that you are proud of your faith as a muslim .Clap Clap..good job girls! As for me, its quite hard to describe and explain my predicament and situation. But, deep in my heart the urge to wear a tudung/hijab/headscart is always there. I'm praying that with guidance from Allah and support from my family and friends, the time will come soon enough. Amin...

Our princess turns 2

Hi everybody!
Saturday, 9th November was our niece's birthday party. We celebrated it at Critter Land, Seri Kembangan.It was a fancy dress costume party. I love costume party because...(OK I need a reason to wear those weird bajuan and I need a place where I can dress in an unusual costume and have fun) Come on, bila lagi nak melaram mcm ni kan?

But anyways,a day before the event, we went to several places to find our baju. My husband was undecided ..nak jd Spartan ke batman ke..superman ke orang minyak ke :p.... :-) Cari sana sini..sampai ke Abrakadabra..tup2 kami beli je kat balloon buzz.Habis cerita.If anyone want to rent a costume, you may drop by at Century Fiesta, Hartamas or Abrakadabra, Puchong. They have an enormous collection of costumes ranging from.....biasa2 to elegant to outrogeous futuristic .

My sister in law decided to celebrate Zahra's birthday in a small group which means it is strictly for established selection of peoples.Reason? She wants the party to be memorableand exclusive. So who's the guest?Hmm..let see...

We really enjoy playing dress up and had so much fun. Everybody that attends was really sporting and put in extra effort to search for the costume. Kudos to the organiser for a successful party. We really had a blast!!!
